• What are the warranty periods on your pedals?

  • Depends on the product level. All level 1 pedals have a 2 year manufacturer's warranty. 2, 3 and 11 versions all carry a 5 year manufacturer's warranty. Warranty periods begin from the date of original purchase.

• How do I make a warranty or service claim?

  • For Product purchased in the USA, create an RA#. You can create an RA# on our website, www.Crankbrothers.com

  • For all other countries, please contact your original place of purchase or contact Info@crankbrothers.com

• What does Crankbrothers do if my pedals fail?

  • All pedals sent to Crankbrothers will be repaired or replaced at Crankbrothers discretion in a timely manner. Crankbrothers may not be able to repair or replace the items with the same color ( like springs or endcaps), but will always use parts of equal or greater value. Always send in both pedals even if only one pedal is broken. This will allow us to offer matching repair part colors or check for any issues that may pop-up in the near future. No refunds are offered by Crankbrothers

• Who and What is covered under warranty?

  • Crankbrothers offers a manufacturer's warranty to the original retail purchaser. This warranty covers specifically:

    • Who: Crankbrothers manufacturer's warranty is valid only to the original owner of Crankbrothers pedals purchased from an authorized Crankbrothers dealer. It is honored for the specified period as long as the original purchaser retains ownership of the pedals and proof of purchase is provided. This manufacturer's warranty is not transferable.

    • What: Crankbrothers pedals to be free of material and or workmanship defects for the specified pedal level period. This covers product failure due to faulty factory assembly (not to be confused with installation), construction and/or production of Crankbrothers products. This does not include wear and tear parts like bushings, bearings. seals or o-rings.

• Are there any limitations or exclusions on the pedal warranties?

  • In reference to pedals Crankbrothers warranties do not cover:

    • Pedals that have been subjected to misuse, damage due to impact, shipping damage, improper installation, abnormal operation or handling, and fire or chemical intrusion. Premature wear of bearings, bushings, seals or O-rings due to lack of proper maintenance (see service schedule) or neglect.

    • Pedals that have been damaged due to repair, alteration or modification by anyone other than an authorized Crankbrothers Service Center.

    • Pedals returned without valid proof of purchase or sales receipt showing original purchase date and product description.

    • Pedals purchased used, second hand, or from any non-authorized Crankbrothers retailer or distributor.

    • Labor charges for service performed by a source other than an authorized Crankbrothers Service Center.
