Model C, which can be considered the “classic” Colnago model, handmade in Italy according to tradition and intended for those who love bicycles with a unique and exclusive design. C like Colnago, carbon, Cambiago, class.
68 represents how far Colnago has come since the year in which we were founded, 1954. It is our model dedicated to the handmade multi-part Italian tradition processes and to those who love road bikes with a unique and exclusive design.
HANDLBARS
A dedicated new Colnago CC.01 integrated handlebar will also be available with the C68. Usually integrated handlebars are built using several pieces of carbon glued together, either on the drops or on the stem. However the Colnago CC.01 is made in a single piece, completely monocoque, advantageous to both saving weight and increasing rigidity.
HEADTUBE
The new splitted headtube is now stronger, lighter and more customizable than ever. Parts are reduced from 8 (C64) down to 6, this way we are saving weight (less bonding area) and machining/gluing time.
FRAME
The C68 is the pinnacle of the evolution of Colnago history, it’s the lug construction at its extreme development, it’s where 68 years of frame design meet the future. C68 is simply the new milestone.
