 Aerodynamics Simplified

Aerodynamics Simplified

Reacto & Reacto Disc

The Reacto for 2018 has been completely redesigned. Wind Tunnel honed shapes improves aerodynamics by 5% and the weight reduction is done through a new carbon lay up. Simplicity was the key objective; overly complex solutions create a nightmare for mechanics resulting in costly workshops bills. The difference in aerodynamic efficiency between caliper and disc being less than one watt, with all that speed on tap, disc brakes make real sense for high speed descending.

Reacto

The Merida Reacto series is designed primarily with one thing in mind; speed. Being the most aerodynamic frame in Merida's range, the way the tubes are shaped certainly allows the frame to live up to that expectation. An aggressive seating position can be expected, so saddle up, because this is certainly going to be one fast bike!

Reacto Disc

While still retaining its aerodynamic properties and unique features such as the S-Flex seatposts (proprietary only to the Reacto Series), the widely acclaimed Reacto now gets the most talked about disc brake technology. Better braking performance and wider tyre clearances are just some of the new and unique features of this stunning ride.
